WealthWise Philanthropy Program
Philanthropy is one of our core values at WealthWise Financial. Our firm’s purpose is to Redefine Wealth Management. As part of this purpose, we have three main pillars that guide our work with clients. Two of these pillars, “Articulate your Vision” and “Create a Legacy,” often lead us to help our clients with their philanthropic goals. We incorporate charitable giving into our financial planning for clients and in our investment strategies. We offer both ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and faith-based models to accommodate client’s beliefs and values. Additionally, we believe in the motto of practice what you preach. That is why we have programs to give on behalf of both our employees and our clients.
We often refer to our clients as the WealthWise Family and part of creating this community is caring about and supporting the causes that are important to them. Many of our clients are charitably inclined which is why we make a donation on their behalf at the end of every year and why we give out an award to a client that we believe is making an impact through their philanthropic involvement.
Our firm has built a culture focused on helping others with our philanthropic work at the center. We know that our employees value working in an environment that prioritizes giving back to people both locally and globally.
WealthWise Gives Back
WealthWise is committed to giving back. Our goal is to make an impact within our local community as well as on a global scale. A theme among our philanthropic involvement is creating financial equality. Through our work with Orange County United Way, we hope to contribute to solving this problem locally. Through our work with Hope International, we hope to contribute to solving this problem on a global scale. We are especially passionate about supporting women. As a female owned business with a majority of female employees and a large concentration of female clients, we believe it is our calling to support women on their journey to financially independence. This vision is what inspired our CEO, Loreen Gilbert, to write a book for women on becoming financially confident.
Education
WealthWise Scholarship
Our firm makes a difference in our community through our WealthWise Scholarship. Through this scholarship we are able to support local female students at the university level and help them achieve their goal of working in the financial services industry. Reading the applications and hearing from previous recipients, we know that our contributions are making a difference in the lives of women interested in financial services. Loreen also gave a speech at the commencement ceremony to present the award, therefore, expanding our impact to all the students and award recipients in attendance.
Clients
Giving Back Award
Each year we recognize a client with our “Giving Back Award” honoring someone who has made a significant philanthropic impact. In 2022, we made a donation on behalf of the recipient for her involvement at her temple where she serves as President of the Beth El Sisters Board of Directors and as a volunteer teacher.

Susan G. Komen Foundation – Forbes Top Women
As a recipient of the Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisor, Loreen attended the Forbes-SHOOK Top Women Wealth Advisors Summit held in Palm Beach, FL. A major part of the summit was a fundraising effort to support the Susan G. Komen foundation.
